What’s in Jo’s Makeup Bag
Here’s all the cosmetic products you’ll find in my makeup bag! I definitely don’t use all of these for my every day look - I usually like to stick to a pretty natural, simple makeup routine as much as I can. I’m a strong believer in less is more with makeup.
I’ve included an asterisks next to the products that I use every single day (**) and the other items are what I use when I’m getting extra done up on the weekend or for a special occasion.

Makeup is expensive so don’t feel obligated to buy all high-end, expensive products. We totally understand that $46 for a bronzer is not always in the cards, so splurge on a few of your favorite products and then incorporate a few others from the drugstore. One of the biggest ways to cut back on cost is on mascara and eyebrow pencils, they’re usually at least 50% cheaper if you grab them at your local drugstore like CVS or Rite Aid. If we had to pick any makeup product to splurge on though, it would be a quality foundation.
Tip: We always recommend getting a few samples from Sephora first so you can test them out, determine your shade, and then easily order online what you like the best!
