Healthy Breakfast Ideas
You know what they say…breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Cue eye roll haha. As old school as this statement sounds, there is a lot of truth to it. Breakfast improves your energy levels and helps keep you going throughout the day. Lack of proper nutrition in the morning can lead to brain fog, lethargy and a series of other negative effects.
We know life is busy, but even a quick protein smoothie can make a difference in your day and overall health. Here are a few breakfasts we love to make on the regular at home.
Greek yogurt with fruit (Apple is my fav), granola, cinnamon and agave
Scrambled eggs with goat cheese + chives and whole wheat toast
Oatmeal with peanut butter, @jooliesdates and blueberries (overnight oat style is yummy too!)
Avocado toast with an over medium egg and a little hot sauce. Also chili flakes.
Chicken sausage + scrambled eggs w/spinach + whole grain toast
Protein smoothie packed with greens. We love @lsfnutrition + @foursigmatic protein.
@daveskillerbread or @thepagel_ with PB, banana, granola, and honey
Sourdough toast + pesto + scrambled eggs and side of sliced tomatoes with olive oil, basil, s&p
Protein waffles or pancakes with fruit, almond or peanut butter, & syrup
