Recipe: Honey Roasted Carrots
Roasted carrots, forever a comfort food reminding me of my childhood. These carrots are packed with flavor from the seasonings and generous honey covering. We roast them on high heat until they are tender and ready to enjoy! An easy recipe that adds an elevated touch to any meal.
INGREDIENTS:
Whole small carrots or large carrots cut into smaller pieces, peeled and trimmed
Honey (maple syrup is a great substitute)
Parsley
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
HOW TO:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Prep Baking sheet by lining with foil
Toss carrots with honey, olive oil, parsley, salt & pepper
Bake for 35-45 minutes (depending on size of carrots) until they are tender and browned.
Broil for a few minutes at the end if you want them extra crispy!
Serve immediately and enjoy!
