Jo's Last Rodeo | Scottsdale Bachelorette Weekend

Jo's Last Rodeo | Scottsdale Bachelorette Weekend

Still recovering from my bachelorette weekend over a week later… the come down is real. It was the best weekend of my life!!! I wouldn’t have changed a single thing it was just so special, and I am excited to share everything with you.. My sister (also my MOH) did such an incredible job planning everything, especially for someone who has never even been to a Bachelorette party before lol. The pressure was on and she showed the f*ck up! If you are having your Bach party in Scottsdale, consider yourself lucky… you’re about to have the best damn time.

I’ve put together a really in depth Scottsdale. AZ bachelorette itinerary with all the details - including where we stayed, where we ate, what I wore and all the fun girly decor that set the vibe for the weekend. Included a ton of tips and links in here too! Basically a one stop shop for your disco cowgirl + Scottsdale inspo whether you’re a bride or a MOH/BM planning a bachelorette weekend.

The house we stayed at was booked through AvantStay (it's called Primrose) linked here. Also, you can use our personal referral link here to get $250 in travel credits when you create a free AvantStay account (this is in no way sponsored btw - just saving you $). Anyway, the house was somehow even better in person than the photos. It was an absolute mansion - the decor was on point, the outdoor area/pool was a vibe and it very comfortably fit all 16 of us girlies.

FULL ITINERARY

Thursday

  • We all flew in on Thursday afternoon and grabbed happy hour at Cook and Craft in Paradise Valley while people were arriving. This spot was really close to the house and convenient for us to hang at!

  • Checked into the house at 4pm. My sister (and parents) had set up the whole house already which was so special to walk in and be totally surprised! Disco cowgirl vibes of my dreamssss. I’ll link as much of the decor as I can at the bottom of this blog post.

  • For dinner that night, we had a casual BBQ at the house - grilled burgers, salmon, salad and veggies. Lots of wine too.

Friday

  • Yogurt parfait bowls for breakfast

  • Private spin class at The Madison Scottsdale (@themadisonscottsdale) with lead instructor Demar Jackson (@demarjackson). He had the best energy and The Madison went above and beyond to make the ride so special! It was honestly a great pregame to get us hyped for the clubs later lol. Highly recommend doing something active one day of the bachelorette!

  • Breakfast at Jojo Coffeehouse (@jojo.coffeehouse). This place is so cute! We decided to come here last minute after spin and so happy we did. They were really accommodating for large parties, service was great and their food was amazing. I recommend their coffee flight samplers and breakfast burritos!

  • Pool party at the house. We drank lots of High Noon seltzers + Espolon Tequila.

  • Cowboy hat decorating - as seen in this TikTok video. My sis got all the supplies from Amazon and Michael’s - linked here.

  • Custom drink bar with speciality cocktails crafted by my sis/MOH.

  • Got ready for the night then pregamed with all the girlies which was one of the highlights of the weekend. Maybe even my life. We played lots of drinking games (rage cage, obvi). Then I was surprised by professional photographer @roxyfalsafi who took all the flash photos. She came with us to the restaurant too and made us feel like absolute celebs. The first and probably the last time I will ever have a paparazzi experience. Hiring her is a must if you are having your bachelorette in Scottsdale!

  • Dinner at SumoMaya. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants EVER and couldn’t recommend it enough especially for a bachelorette party or large group. It really sets the vibe for the night. We did a pre-fixed menu which was 10/10 (food was $75/person not including drinks, tax or tip). The food and drinks here are all amazing - favorite item is the crispy rock shrimp it is TDF.

  • Went out to the clubs + got bottle service. We went to El Hefe and Whiskey Row. We had the most fun at El Hefe! Lots and lots of tequila shots and dancing. I don’t think I can ever return.

Saturday

  • Avocado toast bar for breakfast. We used fresh sourdough, lots of avocado, tomatoes, smoked salmon and eggs.

  • Lounged and recapped the night. It actually started raining during the day so we got all cozy and chilled before somehow rallying in the afternoon. The weather started to clear up and we were like it’s go time babyyyyy.

  • We went on a party bike through Scottsdale (booked via this website) in our hot girl walk attire. It was SO much fun and a must for a bach party! You can blast music and drink on the bike and then you stop at 2-3 bars along the way. Your girl loves an inclusive activity. We went to Boondocks and Hot Chick for round two.

  • Then we had a dance party at the house. Lot of champagne showers… oops.

  • Special surprise lmao…. IYKYK. Core memory.

  • Ordered Thai food take out for dinner. It was SO nice not having to get all dressed up on Saturday night, we loved being able to just hang all together in comfy clothes.

Sunday

  • We all left in the morning but stopped at Provision Coffee (honey vanilla latte is fuego but like $10?) and grabbed breakfast at ChopShop on the way to the airport.

**Other recommendations on our list that we didn’t have time to fit in the agenda:

  • Dinner - Toca Madera, Maple & Ash

  • Drinks - Wine Girl, 50 Shades of Rose

  • We have a whole Scottsdale travel guide here with more recs too!

WHAT I WORE

♡ DECOR + DETAILS

  • Shop our Amazon Storefront (we have a whole section dedicated to Bachelorette items) here

  • Cowboy hat decorating - pink cowboy hats, stars, gems + don’t forget to order glue!

  • Welcome Goodie Bags - made with Canvas totes + patches from Amazon. Inside: bkr glass water bottle, Brave the Label Sweatshirt, Pink Bandana, Vuori Fanny Pack, Nuun Hydration, Rael face mask + some other small goodies.

  • Custom door tags were made on Canva - printed on white paper then cut out like cow spots

  • Printed itinerary was made on Canva

  • Bar sign with custom drinks also made on Canva

  • Same Penis Forever Balloons - my sis got this from Target but can’t find it online. Linked similar here.

  • Guess Who? Bride Edition - played this game during dinner and it was so fun. My sis put together a long list of questions and the girls had to guess who between Connor and I (she had Connor submit his answers in advance too). Questions like “who takes longer to get ready?” and “who loves a bargain more?” lol.

TIPS

  • Don’t forget a quality (aka LOUD AF) speaker - we brought my Soundboks and had a non stop dance party around the house. Vibes were HIGH.

  • Send out an email as far in advance as you can listing out what the fixed costs will be. My sis provided a fixed cost that included the house, decor and food + alcohol for the entire weekend. Then she listed out other anticipated expenses i.e. activities and our big dinner out. There will always be other expenses that come up but transparency is key so people can budget accordingly ahead of time and not be stressed during the weekend!

  • Use a spreadsheet to list out all expenses when planning. This helped my sister not go over our budget.
