Recipe: Burrito Bowls (under 20 mins)

Soaking up all the summer vibes with these delicious, simple burrito bowls in the backyard! Take under 20 minutes to prepare and great for a family meal.

The key is to heat up the tortillas with some melted cheese before topping with all the other ingredients!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • Taco seasoning

  • Lettuce

  • Avocado

  • Onion

  • Corn

  • Lime

  • Cilantro

  • Beans

  • Mexican rice

  • Salsa

  • Rice

  • Tortilla

Directions:

  • Chop your lettuce and cut onion, avocado, corn, and cilantro

  • Cook ground beef on the stove over medium heat with olive oil and salt and pepper for 10-12 minutes. Add in taco seasoning mix + water then simmer on low

  • Heat both sides of a tortilla in a pan, add cheese on one side and let heat until melted

  • Assemble your bowl! First, add the tortilla then rice, lettuce, corn, onion, beans, meat, avocado, salsa, lime, cilantro, and chips (optional).
