Recipe: Burrito Bowls (under 20 mins)
Soaking up all the summer vibes with these delicious, simple burrito bowls in the backyard! Take under 20 minutes to prepare and great for a family meal.
The key is to heat up the tortillas with some melted cheese before topping with all the other ingredients!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
Taco seasoning
Lettuce
Avocado
Onion
Corn
Lime
Cilantro
Beans
Mexican rice
Salsa
Rice
Tortilla
Directions:
Chop your lettuce and cut onion, avocado, corn, and cilantro
Cook ground beef on the stove over medium heat with olive oil and salt and pepper for 10-12 minutes. Add in taco seasoning mix + water then simmer on low
Heat both sides of a tortilla in a pan, add cheese on one side and let heat until melted
Assemble your bowl! First, add the tortilla then rice, lettuce, corn, onion, beans, meat, avocado, salsa, lime, cilantro, and chips (optional).
