Jacq's Morning Skincare Routine

My skincare routine rotates through products every now and then, but the basics stay the same. For those who are new, my mom is a dermatologist (we call her DermMom), so all my products I pass through her and I am constantly bombarding her for skincare tips and product recommendations.

Our Thoughts on Trendy Fitness Phrases

Someone messaged us awhile back asking our thoughts on fitness instructors saying things like “strong is the new skinny” and other phrases referencing body type — many of which put being thin/skinny in a negative box or the other side.

So... How do I WFH?

Who else is working from home? This can be fun for some and challenging for others, so we came up with our best tips to stay focused and get shit done from the comfort of your own home. Send to a coworker and/or friend that needs this list!

How Our Fitness Mindset has Changed

If you had asked us this question back in college several years back our answer would have been completely different from what it is today. In college, we were partying and drinking on a much more regular basis and our diet often consisted of whatever was the easiest and cheapest. So, our answer probably would have gone along the lines of “we work out so we don’t gain weight” or “to balance out all the partying and 2am tacos.” Comical, accurate, but ultimately terrible for our mental and physical health.

We went back & forth with giving tips on staying healthy during the holidays b/c we want everyone to focus on being in the moment and not over thinking about what you’re eating —we ain’t about that life. The holidays should be spent guilt free + enjoying quality time with family and friends, not keeping track of calories or how many cookies you’ve had! BUT almost all of you voted in our poll that this is helpful so we wanted to share a simple list — some things we’ve personally been doing to keep us feeling all healthy and happy through the holiday chaos (nothing too strict or overwhelming).
